Sample Itinerary

Day 1 - Welcome in Venice!

Your adventure unfolds as you arrive at Venice Marco Polo Airport, greeted by your representative.A private coach whisks you away to a charming 3-star hotel in the heart of Venice, your home for the next three nights.The day kicks off with a welcome meeting and orientation tour followed by a delightful welcome dinner.

Day 2 - Venice Guided Tour

After breakfast, head to a local sports center for a morning training session followed by a scrimmage against a youth team on your same level.After lunch, return to Venice and take part in a 2-hour guided tour of Venice's treasures: St. Mark's Square, the Doge's Palace, and the Sospiri Bridge await your exploration.Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 3 - Murano & Live Game

After breakfast, board a private boat that will take you around the Venice lagoon to Murano, a famous glass island since medieval times, where you will watch a hands-on demonstration by master glassmakers.Return to Venice for lunch and enjoy free time to lose yourself in the narrow Venetian streets.After dinner, head to the local sports center to watch a game of the top Italian league (this activity can be repeated or moved to any other day depending on the updated schedule).Back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 4 - Brescia and Milan Check-in

After breakfast, board your private coach heading to Milan, the capital city of Lombardy.About an hour's drive from Milan, you will stop in Brescia, home of the famous Pallacanestro Brescia and currently the top team in the Italian Serie A (January 2024).There, you'll stretch your legs with a brief training session among yourselves, before facing off in a friendly match against a local opposing team.After the game and lunch, hop back on your coach and head to the hotel to unpack and rest before dinner.

Day 5 - Milan & Basketball Ground

After a hearty breakfast, it's time for a private guided walking tour of Milan to discover its beauties: your guide will take you through the city's historic and modern marvels, including the chance to see Leonardo da Vinci's iconic "The Last Supper," if available.After the tour and lunch, stretch your legs by playing at one of Milan's finest basketball grounds, either amongst yourselves or challenge the locals – may the best team win!After the game, return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 6 - Milan

After breakfast, you'll be taken to a local sports center for a training session with a coach certified by the Italian Basketball Federation, followed by a friendly match against a local team.Return to Milan afterward to enjoy some free time and explore the city.
Finally, return to the hotel for dinner.

Day 7 - Lake Como

After a rich breakfast, it's time to explore Lake Como!From your hotel, you'll be taken to the train station, from where in just 50 minutes you'll reach the center of Como.The tour begins with a scenic morning boat trip across Lake Como to the beautiful town of Bellagio, known for its cobbled lanes and elegant buildings.
Enjoy a guided tour of this enchanting town, absorbing its serene atmosphere.
Return to the city of Como by hydrofoil.Once back in the city, you will be taken to a renowned Italian culinary institute, to undertake a cooking class with a chef who will guide you step by step through your creations.
At the end of the cooking class, it's time for dinner, and the highlight will be your very own dishes!Back to Milan by private coach and overnight.

Day 8 - Pisa

After breakfast, head towards Tuscany in the direction of Florence.During the journey, make a brief stop in Pisa to admire the Field of Miracles and the marvelous Leaning Tower.Arrive at the hotel in Florence or nearby for check-in and dinner.

Day 9 - Florence

After breakfast, it's time to discover the wonderful Florence, the capital of the Renaissance brimming with monuments and testimonies of a glorious past starting from Brunelleschi's Duomo and Giotto's Bell Tower, to Michelangelo's David! Oh, and don't forget to stop by the house where Dante Alighieri lived!After the tour and lunch, you will be taken to a local sports arena for a friendly match against a local opposing team.Back to the hotel and overnight.

Day 10 - Baroque Rome

It's time to head to the final stop of your journey: Rome!After check-in at the hotel and unpacking your bags, you'll be taken to lunch at a typical Roman trattoria where you will taste traditional dishes like Carbonara or Amatriciana!After lunch, you will go on an orientation walking tour with a private guide who will show you the main landmarks related to the Baroque period of Rome (the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc).Return to the hotel to rest and have dinner.

Day 11 - Imperial Rome

After breakfast, complete your historical tour of Rome by visiting the Colosseum - the first stadium in history - and the Roman Forum with a private guide.Following the visit, you'll make a brief stop at the American University in Rome to tour the campus and meet students who will share their experiences of studying in Italy.End the day with a friendly basketball game against your last opponent of the holiday.After the game and some refreshing, enjoy a farewell dinner to celebrate your experience in Italy!Return to the hotel.

Day 11 - At Your Choice

This day can be organized according to your preferences and those of your school.The options are many, from visiting the Vatican Museums to a day trip to Naples and Pompeii.Don't hesitate to ask!

After breakfast, head to the airport with a private coach.
